Green Flag Band is an Athens, Georgia-based acoustic music ensemble that stays close to the heart of traditional Irish and other Celtic music.  The band features Carl Rapp on fiddle, Dave Coons on guitar and vocals, Ken Ross on accordion, and Julia McDermott on hammered dulcimer and vocals.

We play a variety of tunes from beautiful waltzes and slow aires that will have you reaching for your tissues, to burn-down-the-house polkas and reels that will set you kicking up your heels.  We love to perform live, so come listen for yourself at our next open performance; and bring your dancing shoes!  We are available for your next party, wedding, festival, or social or civic event.  Contact us anytime to discuss our availability and rates.
