Green Flag is an Athens-based folk-music ensemble that stays close to the heart of traditional Irish music. These musicians, sharing a love of Irish Music and Dance, joined forces in 2008, to become Green Flag Irish Band. The band features Carl Rapp on fiddle, Ken Ross on accordion, Antoon Speters on guitar, vocals, and mandolin, and Julia McDermott on the Hammered Dulcimer.

In our recent 2009 season, we were privileged to have Ms. Oonagh Lynch-Benson, and her Drake School of Irish Dancers join us in our live performances. This exponentially increased the musicians’, as well as the audiences’ delight, in our LIVE performances.
