Green Flag Band is an Athens, Georgia-based acoustic music ensemble that stays close to the heart of traditional Irish music. The band features Carl Rapp on the fiddle, Ken Ross on accordion, Antoon Speters on guitar, vocals, and mandolin, and Julia McDermott on the Hammered Dulcimer.

We play a variety of tunes from beautiful waltzes and slow aires that will have you reaching for your tissues, to burn-down-the-house polkas and reels that will have you kicking up your heels. We love to play live music, and we especially appreciate it when live Irish dancers join us on stage. Come listen for yourself, and bring your dancing shoes!
